Crystal Museum
Founded in 1586 in the Münzthal valley, the Manufacture Saint-Louis is the oldest crystal factory in France. The Grande Place Saint-Louis retraces the history of this factory through more than 2,000 exceptional pieces. The scenography illustrates the range of skills that have forged the worldwide reputation of the Cristallerie Saint-Louis: hot forming, gold decoration, cutting, wheel engraving, etc. The Fondation d'entreprise Hermès holds temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary creation.

Visit the Crystal Museum in Saint Louis
A museum in the heart of France's oldest crystal works. A unique collection of 2,000 pieces illustrates the incredible breadth of know-how that forged (and still does today) the reputation of the Saint-Louis crystal works across the world.
The museum is located in the Vosges du Nord Regional Park, on the original site of Saint-Louis, the first crystal factory in France and continental Europe. Located in the heart of the factory, the museum takes visitors on a historical tour around the central well, enhanced by lighting fixtures, including a unique work of art with 120 lights. 2,000 exceptional creations from the Saint-Louis heritage are on display in this architectural setting, in constant dialogue with the craftsmen, demonstrating the liveliness of centuries-old know-how, visible through a window overlooking the ballet of the glassmakers of the team known as "la grande place", who shape the prestigious pieces of Saint-Louis. The museum's name, "La Grande Place", pays tribute to them.
