Visit of the François Schneider Foundation
MuseumsLovers of contemporary art will be delighted to discover this unusual place, which has the theme of water as its common thread through beautiful indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Located at the foot of the Vosges mountains, in the village of Wattwiller, the François Schneider Foundation Contemporary Art Centre is designed around light and transparency, the building includes three exhibition rooms. A sculpture garden completes the ensemble.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday, including public holidays (except 1 May, 24 to 26 December 2023 and 31 December 2023 and 1 January 2024).
Winter opening hours (October - March) from 1pm to 5pm
Summer hours (April - September) from 11am to 6pm
The Bistr'eau is temporarily closed, however you can enjoy the outdoor panoramic terrace and the garden for a picnic, while respecting the premises.
Nota bene: the art centre is closed for 3 to 4 weeks when exhibitions are being set up and dismantled.
The François Schneider Foundation - Contemporary art centre
Founded in 2013 in a former spa resort in the Alsatian village of Wattwiller, the Centre d'Art Contemporain offers visitors over 2,500m2 of exhibition space dedicated to the theme of water. A former bottling workshop transformed and expanded to become an art gallery, its architecture is bright and transparent. The building also boasts a panoramic terrace, a bookstore, a café and an auditorium.

Handicap auditif
Une boucle magnétique est présente à l’accueil et nos toilettes sont équipées d’une alarme visuelle.
Handicap moteur
Tous les espaces intérieurs sont accessibles et aux normes handicap : ascenseur qui dessert tous les étages, toilettes adaptées, hauteur de la signalétique de l’exposition adaptée. Cependant l’accès au jardin peut présenter des difficultés en raison du cheminement en graviers.
Un fauteuil roulant est à la disposition du public.
Trois emplacements de stationnement sont réservés aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
Handicap visuel
Nous vous accueillons à la Fondation avec votre chien-guide. Les escaliers présentent un marquage contrasté et la signalétique est adaptée.
